Feel free to introduce yourselves and share where you’re from! We’ll just give you a shoutout in our weekly newsletter instead of coming here to post about it.
Posting is important in our customer onboarding community because it's how we share knowledge, connect with each other, and elevate the experiences we deliver. Here are some good guidelines to follow when posting:Select the type of post. Questions are good for when you want a specific answer. Conversations are good for open dialog! Enter a Title This helps with search-ability. Usually your title can be your question i.e. “How can I make my onboarding experience more refined?” Enter a Description This is where the main content behind your question/post will go! Don’t forget that you can add images, format it, link things, and more! Add it to a Category Find your post a home! This helps keep things tidy so others can find it and add to it! Add a tag This is an optional step, but highly encouraged. We have several tags available. If you have more that you’d like please slack me so I can add it. Post it and celebrate 🥳

I was talking with a colleague about basic training for new users in applications, and how a lot of websites/apps are running with tools like WalkMe, Userpilot, etc to give step-by-step training on a DIY basis. Super cool. Wanted to pick the brains of this community to see…What in-app training tool are you using? Are you using with web-based (browser access) tech, desktop, or both? What do you love/hate about it?Exploring options to bring to our team for future enhancements - thanks for any input!!
I created a task that I wnt my customer to sign off. When I click the Require Sign Off slider to turn it on, I am unable to save the task because it says I need to sign off at that time. I’m apparently not understanding how this works. Anyone able to set me straight? Thank you.

The customers we support LOVE engaging via text and we see much higher response rates when we reach out via SMS instead of email or phone. We currently use Zoom Phone, but it’s been cumbersome.Difficulties in associating conversations back to the SFDC Contact If PM’s out OOO - it’s not easy to route text’s to other team members. The App doesn’t do a great job of notifying our PM’s when a text comes inI’d love to know if anyone else is using SMS within their projects and what platforms/tools you’re using! I know Guide released SMS notifications, but we’re looking specifically to reach out, engage, nudge, ask questions, etc.

Hey everyone,Welcome Dave to your new role - I’m sure you are going to rock it! You encouraged us all to do a quick intro so we can all get to know each other. So here’s all about me Career/Background: I’ve been around the block a time or two 😁 My first job doing customer onboarding work was in 1989 - before computers and cell phones. 😂 I just had my company car, my “daytimer” and my briefcase of handouts! (Oh and had to wear a dress and heels - Yikes!) Current Job: I work for SnapStream Media - the software that all of the late night shows use for their clips! I started with the company in 2022 and took over the GuideCX platform and now I do all of the Onboarding and User Training for the company.Little Known Fact About Me: My stepdaughter was on Survivor - and I appeared in the closing credits on the night she was voted off. (I am sadly not on IMDB 😂)Favorite GuideCX Features: New Custom Fields Customized Project Layout Recipe Builder - Auto Project Creation from GuideC
I’m thrilled to have joined the GUIDEcx team as the newest Customer Success Manager working out of the headquarters in Utah. I look forward to the relationships I’ll create both internally and with our amazing customers.
Hey all! Curious if any of you are willing to share your price points and offerings when it comes to your implementation packages?I’ll go first - we currently offer two options, one at $2000 and another at $10,000, but we are struggling at really differentiating the two when it comes to execution. What criteria goes into the package (training, data work, number of meetings)? How do you make sure that your team doesn’t over-deliver? TIA!

Hi, I am just learning how to post a question/idea or start a converstation.
Hello everyone! My name is Dave and I’m fortunate and unfortunate to be stepping in to fill the HUGE shoes Elan left to be your GUIDE host of the amazing Onboarding Community powered by GUIDEcx. It would be great to get to know more of the amazing community members. What better way to start that conversation than to introduce myself to everyone! First, a little about me personally. I have been married to my dream girl for 13 years. We are the proud parents to 8 amazing kiddos. They range in age from 12 to 2 and it is absolutely as crazy around our home as you might think! I love playing sports and watching them with my kids. Nothing makes me more proud than to see them learning to love the BYU Cougars! Fun and embarrassing fact (especially that my father in law loves to bring up any time we meet new people) is that I was in a movie back in my college days so try to find me on iMDB. 🤣Second, professionally I have been with GUIDEcx for over 5 years. I have been an Account Executive, Dir

What is a hack-a-thon? Great question!A hack-a-thon is a popular event in the developer world where coders come together to develop new approaches to solving problems o
I get it. Newly onboarded customers might have a hard time letting go. (I've even heard some people call their handoff calls "Break up calls"). After all, you worked hard to be a product expert, a trusted advisor, their advocate, the list goes on.Here's my standard format for a handoff call:🟢 Introduce the customer to the CSM and vice versa🟢 Give a brief overview of how amazing each member was to work with🟢 Set basic guidelines for when to reach out to support vs. CSM ("Support's job starts when the product stops working")🟢 Turn the time over to the CSMHow do you set clear boundaries to make sure that the customer is empowered in knowing where to go if they have questions post onboarding?
Next week is Valentines Day and as a treat we wanted to put something together to show you we care! Please feel free to screenshot these cards to share with your team, friends, and who knows maybe even your family! Have a Happy GUIDEntines and thank you for being a member of the Onboarding Network.
