Just saying Hello in the platform!Looking forward to all of us helping each other work better together! :-)Greetings from San Diego, CA!
When I'm emailed a spreadsheet or sit through meetings where I'm talked at, I know it's going to be a bumpy ride. More often than not, an onboarding process is born, but never enhanced. Usually v1 is good enough, but good enough isn't good enough. Your customers are evolving so your OX (onboarding experience) should too.My secret to designing enjoyable onboarding experiences is putting myself through the onboarding experience every six months. I do my best to put myself in my customer's shoes to see what the experience is like. In order to be really objective, I ask myself: "Is this onboarding a chore?"The perfect OX is out there. It will take time and lots of iterations to get there, though. Here's to not giving up! 🥂What secrets do you have up your sleeve to design a solid OX?
What’s the difference???
Happy Wednesday everyone! It’s crazy to think how we’re all onboarding and implementation professionals, but we all started somewhere! I’d love to know what everyone’s first job was. For me, my first job was when I was 15 years old. I was a lifeguard at a water park called 7 Peaks in Provo, Utah. I had a blast working there. I was the lifeguard that would give people an extra push down the water slide when they asked for it! My favorite ride was called the Boomerang. It was essentially a halfpipe that would have anyone and everyone screaming. One time at a work party, my friends and I went down the Boomerang on food trays. It was the most alive I’ve ever felt haha Here’s a video for reference (PS that harness is new and back in my day they didn’t have lifeguards wearing that haha)
Here’s the weekly get to know you question! (PS if you wanna chat in here between Wednesdays, please go for it haha)If you could open up any type of food truck. What would it be??? (Logistics aren’t a factor - so if you wanted a food truck filled with lobsters where customers could select a lobster and then you make them into a delicious lobster roll then that’s cool!)
This year I started reading..for fun. (for the first time in 8 years?!). I’m not a reader. Dare I say, at times, I’ve said, “I hate reading,” but I found a crazy good deal on a Kindle during Black Friday and intentionally purchased Kindle Unlimited (it’s an investment!) to force myself to read more. I started putting my Kindle right next to my bed and reading one chapter of a book a night. It’s honestly been great. I’ve found some new passions…such as sailing, recipe testing, and comedy, that all came from the books I’ve read. My favorite has been “Escape from the Ordinary” from Julie Bradley. She and her husband decided they wanted to sail around the world, and they have some amazing stories to tell! I really like it because it’s changed the way I think about the world, diving into my passions and taking the plunge to do something new. It has also helped at work a ton - I now relate to my colleagues in new ways and am willing to test new things out..even if they might not work out per
Hey everyone! Elan here 😁I could come up with questions all day every day to post in this channel, but I’d love to hear what challenges/questions you’re running into! If you post your question below, I can feature it in our weekly QOTW series. Another cool thing is if it gets featured then we’ll do a livestream on it later in the week (Thoughtful Thursdays). The goal is to get your questions answered! So what are you waiting for? Drop your questions below!
I’m all out of Implementation memes, but here’s one for Easter. Happy Easter everyone!
Happy Funday Friday! Every Friday, I encourage everyone to check out the ImpleMEMEtation Station channel to share a meme or check out memes created by our community! It’s a good way to laugh and who doesn’t like laughing? In this video I show you step-by-step how to create your own meme and share it with the community! Check it out and I can’t wait to see what you create!

Hi, My name is Bria and I’ve worked in the Onboarding Space for ~5 years! I’ve been an Onboarding Specialist, an Onboarding Director, and now am a Customer Engagement Manager. I love getting others connected and excited about working with new tools or adopting new processes to make life better!
Excited to be here.
Did anyone go or is planning to go to one of Taylor Swifts concerts? I’ve heard they’re simply amazing. I’d love to hear about it!!
Hi!My name is Ryann Gill, and I’m over on the marketing team at GUIDEcx. I’ve been on the team for two years and love it! It’s so great to work with positive people that are excited to build the customer onboarding category every day. 😊 The reason I’m excited to be part of this community is because anyone involved in onboarding is the unsung hero of a company. It’s such a fun/challenging/difficult position, and I’m excited to see the industry leaders come together and share best practices and advice with each other! In my free time, I absolutely love to cook and try new foods! One of the highlights of my day is going to the grocery store and find something new to try. I also ski and try to get out and do watersports in the summer, a few years ago we had 65 lake days and maybe one year I get beat that record. Excited to be part of this community. 😊
It’s Friday!!! (Finally, after all these years am I right? Haha) I hope everyone’s week went well! I’m looking to expand my music taste. What are your favorite songs to listen to after a good week of work? Drop the links in comments below 👇👇👇

Just because you know your way around the software doesn’t mean they do. Meet them at where they are at! If they did a pilot, then you can probably move a little quicker. If it’s the first time seeing the software, don’t forget what it was like when you first saw the software!
I’ll give you a hint, it definitely does!
