Just because you know your way around the software doesn’t mean they do. Meet them at where they are at! If they did a pilot, then you can probably move a little quicker. If it’s the first time seeing the software, don’t forget what it was like when you first saw the software!

This is completely true.  Most people are resistant to change so introducing new software can be scary.  Some people also think that automation might be replacing them.  Showing them how it will save time in their day so that they can concentrate on more important tasks is key!!

It’s all about instilling that confidence in them! My goal as an onboarder is to help them understand how what we’re implementing is going to make them better at their job!
