I’ve noticed some inconsistencies on certain projects checking out the View As Customer feature.

We have an internal team member assigned to several projects but not assigned to any function. On one project, she disappears from the internal team list when View As is enabled. On another project, she shows up just fine.

On another project, our onboarding manager is assigned internal project manager role, but she has not assigned herself to the Onboarding function yet. With View As turned off, the function shows as empty. With View As turned on, she gets put into the Onboarding function automatically. This is technically correct and what should happen, but we know it hasn’t been done according to the original view, so it’s strange to see.

This week we saw an invited customer disappear when this Labs function was turned on as well. Per Support, they’re aware of the customer visibility issue, but we haven’t seen the internal resource issue.

Hi @cmelancon, my name is Cameron and I want to thank you for jumping in and trying out the new View As feature. I appreciate you getting in and trying it out and providing feedback. Obviously we want to do everything we can to make adoption of the feature simple and easy. The beauty of the feature flag is that you can try it out at a time that works for you and then disable it if you are seeing random or unexpected behavior.

As you have seen based on other threads/questions here in this community group we have had different users report different bugs/behaviors. In the other cases/examples we have had similar reports come through to our support team as well, but so far I think your experience has been unique. I am wondering if you would be open for jumping on a call to discuss and troubleshoot a little bit? If so, please feel free to schedule some time with me here: https://calendly.com/ccrossett/product-consultation or you are welcome to email me directly if you want to arrange something different: ccrossett@GUIDEcx.com

I know you had a different thread with a loading time issue and I am going to jump over to that one and share what I found from that investigation. I will also post my meeting link and email there in case you see that thread first.

Thanks @ccrossett! I booked a session early next week, happy to show you what I’m experiencing. Have a great weekend!

Chris
