Project Notes - Is there a way to better view embedded pictures/screenshots?

I like to document any conversation in GuideCX that I had about the project in places like email or Slack.  The frustration that there really isn’t any good way that I’ve found to do that.  If I screenshot the email or slack convo and paste in the graphic - it’s miniscule and unreadable - and there isn’t any way I’ve found to make it bigger.  Here is what it looks like - from writing the notes in the task details, or from the Notes tab This is what I am pasting in: And this is what it looks like   If I try to just copy the text and paste it - I might be able read the text but it looks even worse as it takes out any graphics I’ve included in the email and put a weird placeholder icon.What are other options that I could use?

KPIs/Metrics to Drive GuideCX Behaviors with Internal Teams?

Hello, all! I’m trying to create KPIs/Metrics that will help drive the right behaviors in GuideCX by my internal team members. What kinds of metrics are you all using to do this?For example, I’m going to use the Task Efficiency Report to identify patterns of late tasks for team members. This will enable me to have a conversation with the individual and ask what blockers they are facing to getting tasks done on-time.Any other ideas on what reports/metrics you’re using to drive good planning, communication, execution, etc. within Guide? Connect with another GUIDEcx Customer(s)

We have been using GUIDEcx for just over a year. We are using it for SaaS software implementations at the Enterprise level. Our implementation plans are long and complicated. We would LOVE to chat with other GUIDEcx customers that are using it at this level as well. I am sure there are things we are doing that could be done differently or better, but we really need the perspective of someone using it in the same way. Anyone willing to chat with me?

How to change a project from Internal to External

I have a project created that is currently marked as an Internal project. I need to share it with my customers so they have access to it.  When I go to Add Team members on the Customer tab, it tells me I cannot add anyone because it is an Internal Project.  How can I update this so that I can now share with my clients?

Disabling Welcome Email upon project creation with recipe.

Is it possible to disable the welcome email that gets triggered if the project within GuideCX is created via the recipe builder while keeping it enabled if the user is manually added ?

In-App Guided Training Platform - Are you using one?

I was talking with a colleague about basic training for new users in applications, and how a lot of websites/apps are running with tools like WalkMe, Userpilot, etc to give step-by-step training on a DIY basis. Super cool. Wanted to pick the brains of this community to see…What in-app training tool are you using? Are you using with web-based (browser access) tech, desktop, or both? What do you love/hate about it?Exploring options to bring to our team for future enhancements - thanks for any input!!

Incomplete display of large teams with View As turned on

With the View As feature turned on, I had an onboarding manager notice today that they could not see a customer team member to edit them.We have a particular project where there are a large number of people involved for, well, reasons. There are 33 team members on the customer team - visible with View As turned off: With View As turned on, there are 7 cards shown (plus the blank that showed up when I clicked Add Another Customer). The other team members are inaccessible: My manager noticed a typo in someone’s name and was unable to find them to change it. I was able to turn the feature off and find the user to edit them, but there doesn’t seem to be any indication that there are more users or means of loading more into the view.

Project Team Builder gone when View As enabled

Is it the expected behavior that the Project Team Builder functionality is removed if using the new View As functionality? If we turn on the feature, the team builder blocks are gone and they reappear if we turn off the feature. I’ve confirmed that there are project tasks in the plan that have functions assigned to them.

Discrepancies with Internal Team Members with Labs feature on vs. off

With the View As feature turned on, I attempted to remove someone from a test project, or from a role in a test project. Either activity resulted in an endlessly spinning circle on the dialog to remove them.I switched the feature off and the user did not show up on the internal team at all.I added a new user to replace them in that role and with the view as feature off was able to assign them the same role.With the feature turned on, now I show two people in that role. The original user (X in the screenshots) and the new user (4).Screenshots:View As On:  View As Off:

Help with "Status Change Reasons" Report & tracking project status changes

Hello,  Ive been trying to leverage the Status Change Reasons report but noticed that it does not track when statuses are changed *from* the statuses, so we cant really track how long they were “on-hold” for.Additionally there are two cards that never have any visualization. The “Reason Group - Done” & “Change Reasons - Done”. It doesn’t appear that change reasons are available for the done section. Can anyone advise on how to get the data I’m looking for and how to use those two cards?

Project Summary Details

Hello friends,  As we work on building out the new Board/Plan view we are planning to continue displaying the Project Summary Bar at the bottom of the page. Right now the plan is to display the same data and to mimic the legacy version. I am curious though if there has ever been a metric that you would want included in this bar that isn’t currently part of it? I don’t plan to overstuff it, but would be open to adding metrics if it made sense. Any thoughts or input?

Guide CX and Slack integration

I have intergrated Guide CX with Slack, created a new channel hoping that any internal notes added in Guide CX would appear in my newly created Slack channel to notify the right people to assist me in answering my customers questions. However this is not working. I followed what you showed on the video eg. #slack:cara but nothing came through. I’d also like to see how we can intergrate Hubspot to eliminate manual tasks and when a new customer signs wondering if this would trigger an automatic project set up in Guide CX?

Monday.com and GUIDEcx

I'm building a recipe that creates projects from a Monday board's sub items as opposed to the item. I want to push the project ID back to the Monday board's sub items after project creation, but the Board ID field does not accept any datapills for the “Update Item by ID in Monday.com” action. The board ID for a subitem is unique so using the item’s board ID (which is static and easy to find) won’t work. Is it possible to update a Monday board subitem from Recipe Builder?

Anyone using SMS to text/engage with customers during Onboarding?

The customers we support LOVE engaging via text and we see much higher response rates when we reach out via SMS instead of email or phone.We currently use Zoom Phone, but it’s been cumbersome.Difficulties in associating conversations back to the SFDC Contact If PM’s out OOO - it’s not easy to route text’s to other team members.  The App doesn’t do a great job of notifying our PM’s when a text comes inI’d love to know if anyone else is using SMS within their projects and what platforms/tools you’re using! I know Guide released SMS notifications, but we’re looking specifically to reach out, engage, nudge, ask questions, etc.

Where/How do you all store Customer Requirements?

Hey everyone, We use GuideCX as primarily an Onboarding/Implementation project management tool.  During our Kick Off Meeting with the customers we go through a slide deck with a series of Requirement Questions.  For ease of viewing I use Google Slides to list the Questions.  I don’t want to go out of presentation mode to stop and type up their answer - but instead will go back through the meeting transcript later to gather and document all the answers.My question is this - where do you all store your Requirements information that you gather?  Our requirements are pretty simple - no need for a huge complex document. It doesn’t make any sense to go back and put it in Google Slide deck - no one will ever open that file again.  I currently put it in meeting notes - in the Kick Off Task - but that also would be difficult to easily find and get back to.I was considering like a Google Sheet that is attached to the project.  I think I read where I can set up with the project initiation recipe

Inconsistent presentation of team members with feature on vs. off

I’ve noticed some inconsistencies on certain projects checking out the View As Customer feature.We have an internal team member assigned to several projects but not assigned to any function. On one project, she disappears from the internal team list when View As is enabled. On another project, she shows up just fine.On another project, our onboarding manager is assigned internal project manager role, but she has not assigned herself to the Onboarding function yet. With View As turned off, the function shows as empty. With View As turned on, she gets put into the Onboarding function automatically. This is technically correct and what should happen, but we know it hasn’t been done according to the original view, so it’s strange to see.

Duplicating/Copy an existing project

Is there a way to take a copy of an existing Project you have previously created and use that to make a new project?  I am looking for a way to take a Project (and all the corresponding templates) and make a copy of it as a starting point for a new project.

View as Customer - Project Not Showing in the Project List - but Main page is showing tasks & notifications

So I went in to view as my customer Tom Thorson.  On the main page it showed all of his open tasks and ours - everything that he should be.I clicked on the Notifications in the left panel - and that is showing fine. But when I click on Projects on the left - it says he doesn’t have any Projects

Can you add a customer logo after the project template has been created?

Hi there,  I feel like a crazy person because this answer feels like it should be obvious. I created a new Project from a template and skipped over uploading a logo assuming I could do it later when I have more time and now I can’t figure out how to do it. Is it even possible? When I go to Edit Project Details I don’t see this as a possibility, but I am still relatively new to the platform and definitely not an expert yet! Thanks in advance! Best, Anna Lise

A Little About Me

Hey everyone,Welcome Dave to your new role - I’m sure you are going to rock it!  You encouraged us all to do a quick intro so we can all get to know each other. So here’s all about me Career/Background:  I’ve been around the block a time or two 😁  My first job doing customer onboarding work was in 1989 - before computers and cell phones.  😂 I just had my company car, my “daytimer” and my briefcase of handouts!  (Oh and had to wear a dress and heels - Yikes!)  Current Job:  I work for SnapStream Media - the software that all of the late night shows use for their clips!  I started with the company in 2022 and took over the GuideCX platform and now I do all of the Onboarding and  User Training for the company.Little Known Fact About Me:  My stepdaughter was on Survivor - and I appeared in the closing credits on the night she was voted off.  (I am sadly not on IMDB 😂)Favorite GuideCX Features: New Custom Fields Customized Project Layout Recipe Builder - Auto Project Creation from GuideC

Using the Managed SFDC Package - How do we map fields?

Our team is currently using the managed package (we have recipe builder). I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to create a recipe that populates one field in SFDC. Maybe a batch upload? Any tips are appreciated!
