This one goes out to everyone building a customer onboarding team and everyone looking to level themselves up!

In your opinion, what are skills that every customer onboarder/implementations manager should have? What are red flags? What are green flags? Let’s get a conversation going around what makes a customer onboarding manager successful!

I think having the technical skills along with the relationship building skills and some sales mixed in helps.  This is really the first point of contact your new customer has with anyone outside of sales so selling may need to still be had if its a new person rather than the buyer and you need to make them a champion.  Dont just go with the flow - involved the customers in the experience understand their timeline and how they work - do they want a ton of meetings up front or a few and documentation and videos sent to them.  Having an onboarding manager who can read those signals and or ask customers those up front important questions is KEY
