I wish I knew that anytime I ended a meeting without scheduling the next meeting I could lose a LOT of momentum.

Don’t rely on memory for action items. Even if you think you’ll remember, write them down anyway! Record who is responsible and when it is due.
I can’t tell you how many times I thought I’d remember and I ended up forgetting within seconds!!! A dull pencil is better than a sharp mind!
